Trier, Germany

I am in Trier, Germany. The OLDEST city in Germany! It has Roman ruins, don'tcha know. It is crawling with churches and I believe one is a UNESCO site. Two are next to each other so I got 2 half masses in today for Palm Sunday. One is the old cathedral, very plain, and one is baroque out the ying yang. They don't use palms here... some sort of green branch. Tons of people around, eating, drinking, walking. So for today, some religious stuff (a bit) some architectural curiosities, flowers, parks, cuties and so on. Oh, and the place I'm staying in is an old monastery, right on the Moselle River, with barges and tourist boats going by and tons of people out walking and biking. Germany!! Enjoy!
